Question
CAN YOU TELL ME HOW I MIGHT REVIVE A PORTION OF THE KEYBOARD WHICH NO LONGER RESPONDS?
THESE BUTTONS ARE AT THE TOP ABOVE THE FI-F12 KEYS. THEY ARE,CD/DVD CONTROLS,VOLUMS,MUTE,HELP SPOT,INTERNET,E-MAIL,SHORTCUT AND SLEEP PUSHBUTTONS.
I AM USING WINDOWS 98,AND HAVE GATEWAY EQUIPTMENT.

Answer
You should have a disk that came with the keyboard. It should have an application on it that activates the extra keys/buttons and allows you to configure them. Without that application you are stuck.

If you find it, just reinstall the keyboard application and follow instructions. Unless you have totally reconfigured your PC and the keyboard used to work completely, the application may still be on your PC. Just look for an application in your menu that will have "keyboard" or "Internet buttons" and/or the name brand of your keyboard. If you cannot find it at all, contact the vendor and they may give you the correct application or tell you where to get it.

The keyboard also requires its own driver, but the application installation should install the correct driver. OK?
