Question I have an imported version of Star Wars Galaxies on by PC. I am a United Kingdom resident. The game defaults to American English keyboard. The only problem with this is that the game does not recognise the backslash key on the UK keyboard. Is there a code or something I can do that will get round this. I use the backslash infrequently so a code to input each time I use it would not be an inconvenience. Obviously all other applications on my pc recognise the UK keyboard so no problems there.
Many thanks
Answer You need a utility like "Tradekeys" which is what I use to add a couple extra Tab keys on the right side of my keyboard. A utility like this can switch key functions between various keys on your keyboard. I 'think' this would solve your problem.
Go to www.download.com and do a search in downloads for "trade keys" (separate the words) and you'll come up with several utilities that do similar things. Some are totally free and some are shareware and require a fee after a trial.
You might also try checking the Web site of the Star Wars game and see if they have a UK version or some other fix.
