Subject: wireless kb in windows setup

Question
I have the Creative Labs Wireless 6000 Wireless Keyboard and Optical Wireless Mouse.

They don't seem to work when not in Windows. This means that I can't resinsatll it as they don't work in setup. I can't even select setup when it says "press any key" anyway.

Can you offer a solution.

thanks.

Answer
You will need to be a little more specific. For example, what happened to Windows? Did it crash and you are reinstalling? Or what?

When you say it won't work in setup, which setup are you talking about?

If you are having to reinstall Windows itself, just use a regular old mouse like before you used the wireless. Windows will automatically install drivers for the regular mouse and then you can install the Creative wireless software later.

Let me know more specifics ...
