Question
i have 2 questions.
1) Can i register for amateur UFC? and how can i do so.
2) I boxed for 2 years and didn't do good in decisions because of the type of fighter i am (brawler type: hit hard, can take alot of hits and be unaffected) i didn't have the restraint to wait and dance around in boxing when i fight i want to get in and fight from bell to bell nonstop and end it early.  i was wondering if the type of fighter i am would have more success in the octagon than in the boxing ring.

Answer
Matt,
You need to find yourself a good coach who trains amateurs and can take you in the direction you want to go.
Sounds to me like you know exactly what your strengths and weaknesses are already which means you are very "trainable".
With the worldwide popularity of MMA/UFC you shouldn't have any problem at all finding a place!
Best of luck to you.
Regards,
Dwight Woods
