Question Hello, I need help. Can you tell me some of the forms of kickboxing, and which would you think are the best forms?
Thank you.
Answer Suquoia,
Funny you should send me this question today because just yesterday I finished a 2-day seminar with Professeur Salem Assli who is my French Boxing (Boxe Francaise) instructor.
Like me, Salem is also an instructor in (Bruce Lee's) Jun Fan Kickboxing (through Dan Inosanto) and Muay Thai (Thai boxing through Surachai Sirisute).
These three are some of the more well-known forms of kickboxing. There's also American kickboxing which is popularised by Chuck Norris and his WCL organisation.
As far as which is best, there is no such thing. There's just personal preference.
Obviously I lean more towards Jun Fan, Boxe Francaise and Muay Thai but that's just me and others like me.
You may find it's different for you.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Dwight Woods
P.S. In case you didn't realise, I provided you all those names so you'll have stuff to research on the Internet
