Subject: How to lose belly fat with kbx.

Question
I started kickboxing a month ago.  Heres basically the drill, I have been going to a gym for a summer and from a noodle armed dude I gained some body mass and then stopped because I was too busy with my studies. I am 17 years old. During the autumn-winter from 60-65 kg i jumped to 80kg, my height remained the same (177cm) and I'm guessing its because my daily sitting routine. Started the gym during November, gained a little shape but I'm unable to lose all the belly fat and my muscles were getting even bigger. After 4 months, i still have an enormous belly.
For a perfect kickboxing body, what would you recommend me to do? Continue building my upper and lower body muscles so they can become more massive or focus more on the belly fat?(Which I find impossible to lose) Also, what can I do for the damned belly fat?

Answer
Hello Dimitris,
you really don't wanna get too massive to compete in kickboxing. Alot of mass slows you down. You wanna up your water intake because it will help your metabolism to burn the body fat as well as uping your protein intake and cut back on carb intake. you also wanna run 2-3 miles a day and run 100 yd sprints once a week. Along with some full body sit ups.
I hope i answered your question. Thank you for writing.
