Question
Hi, I'm am going for my green belt grading and we have a contact fight as part of the assessment. I am epileptic and therefore have to shadowbox instead. Would you be kind enough to give me some tips as to doing a good routine that I could practice as I find it so nerve racking? Thank you for your help.

Answer
Katy,
I'm not sure I understand exactly what you mean and at best it's difficult to give people routines by Internet but I would suggest that you try to mimic as best you can, what you've seen happening in the contact matches.
I'm assuming that your teachers want you to look like you were in a real contact fight with combinations of kicks and punches, with offence and defence as part of your routine.
So I would work on that.
Hope this helps! Best of luck on your grading!
Regards,
Dwight Woods
