Ok so couple questions:
What is the average, fair, monthly price for Muay Thai kickboxing (nightly classes)?
How much would one pay for muay thai pads/gloves?
Do you know of anyone in the brooklyn or manhattan area?
I love love love muay thai kickboxing. I'm trying to get back into it on my own b/c it is so expensive. I miss it.
Anyway, thanks for your help!
Best,

Answer Laurie,
I don't know what you mean by "fair". Is that according to you or to the person teaching you?
Any reputable instructor will charge what he/she thinks is a fair price for instruction.
Now there are some charlatans out there who will try to rip you off because they know Muay Thai is popular now and they might be abusing that fact.
As far as equipment prices, those will vary too because (again due to popularity) you can find equipment made in Thailand, Pakistan, India and China.
I'd go with a recognised name like Twins, Thaismai, Windy, even Fairtex.
Check out Combat Sports Int'l, Masterline Company, Ringside, etc.
I know Nick Sacoulas Progressive Martial Arts and Luigi Cuellar/Alex Chan NuBreed Martial Arts both in Queens.
I have heard good things about Phil Nurse in Manhattan but have never met him myself.
Hope this helps.
