We have spoke to Dr many times and he insist that my son will come around can you give me some ideals to work with till then, he will hardly eat anything no veggies, fruit, meat, he throws it or refuses to open his mouth and cries I need advice....Please help Thanks
Answer Hi Shannon,
I receive this question all the time. The answer involves trial and error. Offer your son what you are eating. Eventually he will find something he likes and will most likely want that same food for a week or so and then sporadically change to another favorite.
There is no predictability when it comes to toddlers and their eating habits. I am going through the same battle with my almost 2-year-old. Some of her favorites:
-Yogurt
-Bananas (She likes them whole, not cut up!)
-Goldfish crackers
-Apple cinnamon cheerios
-Graham crackers
-Mandarin oranges
-pizza
-french fries
-chicken nuggets
She also loves popsicles. Just experiment and as long as he is gaining weight normally, I wouldn't concern myself. I know it is frustrating but most toddlers go through this very picky eating stage.
Hang in there and best of luck!
Regards,
