Question
-Thanks again Candace, for all of your efforts. Do any of the sites you sent me have actual coloring downloads along with the pages that you can print? I am looking for a download with a coloring method, like crayons or paint to actually use to color? Thanks again for all of your kindness, regards, Ken------------------------

Question -
Hi Candace, our five year old grand-daughter just inherited my old computer. Is there any games/art that we can load from the internet? She likes coloring, music, and games. Any help will be appreciated, regards, Ken.

Hi Ken,

First, I am going to list a couple of kids color page and craft links.

http://www.onawhim.us/kidszone_nonflash.html (my site)
http://ivyjoy.com/coloring/coloringlinks.html (incredible listing of kids coloring page websites)
http://www.coloring.ws/coloring.html
http://www.sitesforparents.com/index3.html (more links to great websites)
http://www.kidsdomain.com/craft/
http://www.make-stuff.com/ (cool site)
http://familyfun.go.com/crafts/ (one of my all time favorite websites :)

Next is a list of online game sites that I have found on the internet. Many of these sites have games 5 year olds.  You'll need to go through and see if they fit your needs.  My kids favorites are first. They are ages 5 and 3.

Answer
Hi Ken,

I am not sure if I understand what you want.  I think your asking for printable coloring pages.  If so, Onawhim's kidszone (http://www.onawhim.us/kidszone.html) has printable coloring pages and Ivy's website (http://ivyjoy.com/coloring/coloringlinks.html ) has a huge list of sites that offer print and color pages.  We use them all the time to color at home.

If you want to color online, most of the games sites that I listed offer online coloring pages. Here are a few that offer online coloring:

PBS Kids (http://www.pbskids.org),

UpToTen (http://www.uptoten.com/home.phtml)has an interesting kids coloring section, You need to visit the link and then click Play Online in the first column to get to the coloring pages.

Jan Brett (http://www.janbrett.com/coloring_applet/jan_brett_coloring.htm) has both online and printable coloring pages.

Or are you looking for places that provide programs to download to your computer so that you can color?  If that's the case, I'd have to do a little research. We used to have a cool color program for our computer but that is before my kids fell in love with surfing the web.  Let me know if that is what you need and I will get back to you.  I'll be at school until Saturday nite so I won't be able to email you back until Sunday.

Hope that helps,
Candace
