Question
QUESTION: Hi,

How do we install new granite base kitchen cabinets without removing the granite countertop?

ANSWER:  Hi Haresh Sujab,

it is impossible to install new kitchen cabinets with out removing the counter tops because the counter top is too heavy and fragile to support it's self alone and further more the granite has a sealant applied to the cabinets and the tops to hold it in place. Also the new cabinets will have to be plumbed and leveled before the top can be put back on.

You can have a counter top shop remove the tops for you and reinstall them when you are finished with the new cabinets.

I wish you well,

Van

QUESTION: Thanks.I orgot to mention taht each section is in units,Can we not change each unit seprately one at a time?

Sujan

Answer
Hi Sujan,

You will not be able to change the cabinets in that manner because you will not be able to level and plumb the cabinets properly replacing one cabinet at a time because the floor is un-level and each cabinet will has to be leveled  individually.

It is always best not to make a project any harder that you have too!

Good luck,

Van
