Kitchen Design/Remodeling - Countertops

Question
I just had laminate countertops installed and the backsplash is approx. 1/4 inch from wall.  Shouldn't the backsplash fit snug against the wall?

Answer
Hi Pat,

Absolutely the back splash should fit tight against the wall. That installer needs to address this problem immediately if not sooner.

The quality of the work needs to meet or exceed the quality of the money that you spent to have this work done!

I wish you well,

Van
