Knitting - inherited yarn & pattern needs

Question
I inherited quite a bit of yarn from my mother-in-law and I want to use some in a sweater pattern that I also got from her stash. The problem is that I've read the entire yarn label %26 cannot determine the yardage.  I googled, but could not locate the yarn (must be discontinued).  How do I find out if I have enough to make this sweater?  The Classic Straker Design calls for sports weight yarn @ 1310 yards, or approximately 9 one-ounce (28 gm) balls. The yarn I have is Regal Ram Continental Heathers, a four-ply sports yarn with 2 ounces per skein. I have 4 of these.  Will I have enough of this virgin wool worsted to make that sweater?

Answer
For determining yardage , measure out about 25 yards.Weigh the 25 yds. ,divide to determine how many yds per oz.  Weigh the entire amount you have and divide by the number of yds. per oz. in order to find out how many yds total you have. Of course this is an estimation. You might be able to stretch it out by doing the ribbing in another yarn.
