Question
What does the H stand for in a Bernat pattern?
eg. Cont even  until armhole measures 8H inches.

Answer
HI Louise,
can you tell me what pattern you are making?  You can also contact the Bernat company site for info on their specific abbreviations.

was this a free pattern from them??

It is possible that the H is a misprint.
