Knitting/Brother KH-930

I am getting my knitting machine out after a long time sitting.  I have oiled it and checked the underneath side of the K-carriage.  Everything looks the same on both sides and all parts are moving the same on both sides but when I move the carriage from left to right it does not knit.  What is happening

Be sure the carriage is seated.

Put some needles in "b" or work position.  Do they move when you run the carriage across?

Put needles in "hold" position.  do they move when you run the carriage across?

Are all the slip, tuck, and color buttons on off?

Try calling The knit knack shop in Peru Indiana.  Harold is good at repairs.

I can answer questions about machine knitting. I am familiar with most made-in-Japan machines, main beds and ribbers. I am most familiar with Studio and Brother. I am not familiar with Passap.

I was a Studio and a Brother dealer for ten years in Wisconsin. I still knit and design every day.
