Knitting/Ribber

Question
I have a Toyota KS901 have installed the ribber but cannot get it to move to the left.

Answer
The first thing I check is the presser bar, also called the needle retaining bar.  The foam should be thick and "bouncy".

Turn the carriage over and check the underside.  Sometimes a magnet or needle can be stuck in there.

Brush and oil everything.

I was a Studio and a Brother dealer for ten years in Wisconsin. I still knit and design every day.
