Question Hi I'm 16 the guy I like is 17 I've liked this guy 3 years hes in my school were not in any of the same classes and in a different year. But about 2years ago my friend who doesn't really know him asked him over bebo if he liked and he said he doesn't like me. I still kept liking and just looked at him when he was around. This went on for about a year just me looking at him. The the next year of school in the early months a different one of my friends while she was with me and he walked past us told him that I like him and he looked back and smiled at me. And now when I look at him he holds my gaze I'm always the one to look away first and sometimes we look at each other from across the room and he holds the gaze still I always look away. I always look at him when I see him at his locker so he knows that I will look at him so he looks back at me all the time. Then a month or something later weeks later my friend got his number from her friend who knows him. Then I texted him and in school then stopped for a longtime then a good few months later started texting him .Now for about 8/9 weeks we have been speaking regulary but only through text. I text him maybe once or twice a week and we talk for about 2-3hours and he texts back pretty quick but sometimes later. He always uses smileys in every one of his texts to me even if what he was saying wasn't a happy thing. When I ask him a simple question sometimes he responds being funny. Once I texted him and we were talking and he asked me about my friend(who he doesn't know) but he only asked her age and nothing else and not if she was single or anything like than and hasn't said anything about her since. We haven't actually spoken face to face but we know who each other is. when we talk through text if his free text had run out and he had credit he would text me back to let me know so I didn't think he was ignoring me.We do have quite a lot in common and can talk about anything really. We talk about each other a lot aswell. And we did spoke everyday one time. I told him once recently I went to a disco he told me to tell him when the next one was. I think he might have been indicating sort of asking me to ask him out to go to one. What do you think about all this? Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to answer your question. It is a possibility that this guy may be interested and just may be wanting to take things slowly. It's really hard to tell at this point if he does or if he's just being friendly. Does he ever initiate the text or is it always your doing?
