Question Hey Lulu,
I'm 14, and i'm currently in the very end of my 8th grade year. On friday night, I went to the end of the year semi-formal with this boy I've had my eye on for quite awhile. He's extremely shy and he doesn't talk much, but he managed to build up the courage to ask me, and I said yes.
So, we went to the dance and we had fun. We talked, we danced, we took pictures, and we even slow-danced to the one slow song they played. After the dance we exchanged numbers, so I decided to wait and text him on Saturday night so i didn't seem clingy. We talked for about an hour, but then he stopped texting me out of nowhere. I didn't text him again so that I wouldn't seem annoying. We had a Spanish regents exam today and his desk was diagonal to mine, and he would turn his head occasionally and just STARE at me. I texted him this afternoon saying "heyy". Still, no response. Is this supposed to be bad, or am I just over-stressing? I'm starting to think maybe he's just not interested?

This is weird. What do you mean he just STARED at you?? Like a creepy stare? Try talking to him in person and that way you can tell if he's interested or not. It's really the only way you can tell. If he seems enthusiastic that you're talking to him, then he likes you. But if he seems distracted or not so intrigued, then he might not. Maybe his phone got taken away, but I think he would've told you if it did. Hope this helped!
