Hi, Dear Chris and Sijo Robert, please listen as I am well versed in the history and some of the techniques of Tai Shing Pek Kwar Men. Let me make this abundantly clear Paulie Zink and Michael Matsuda DO NOT teach or practice Tai Shing Pek Kwar Men. They do know and teach a very amazing looking monkey style but it is without a doubt no relation in any way to Grandmaster Chan Sau Chung's TSPKM. GM Chan is the only living disciple of GM Kan Tak Hoi who combined Tai Shing that he learned from the founder of that style, Kou Sze and Pek Kwar from his father Kan Wing Kwai. So GM Chan, his son, Chan Kai Leung, and their students are the only ones who know the real art. GM Chan was the only student that GM Kan Tak Hoi taught all five monkey forms to. GM Chan Has never heard of Paulie's teacher or his teacher's teacher and they never studied with GM Kan Tak Hoi. So Paulie Zink doen't have the right to call his style TSPKM. Also there are numerous video's and movies with GM Chan and his students on youtube and if you compare the techniques with video of paulie Zink's you can easily see the hand and body movements are completely different. To answer your question there are no books on TSPKM available to the public unless you are a student of GM Chan and the only 2 video tapes or dvd's out there are by TC Media and are not teaching monkey they teach Pek Kwar and Dei Tong. If you really want to learn TSPKM the only way is to go to Vancouver Canada to study with Chan Kai Leung. But be warned you only can learn monkey AFTER you have mastered both the Pek Kwar style and Dei Tong which is a ground fighting style.

In response to the response. There is some controversy regarding Paulie Zinks legitimacy. A quick google search can explain the details. He is certainly not the only master of Tai Shing Pek Kwar and stands accused of presenting a false lineage to the style Chan Sau Chung is the current grandmaster of monkey style and head of the International Tai Shing Pek Kwar Kung Fu Federation which offers a training course with videos. I suggest you look into this for Tai Shing Pek Kwar training videos.

There were other students who have learned pek Kwar Hong Kong and Master Chan to add shapes. But it is official that Mr. Chan is the only successor (but not the only student)
