Expert: Sifu Richard Mieir-King Date: 6/17/2008 Subject: How do I find a good Animal style kung fu master?
Question I am young, a sophmore in high school. I have found it very difficult to find a good Animal Style Kung Fu master in my area, upstate New York. What are your thoughts on how I can find a good instructor?
Answer Hello Ryan,
Thank you for choosing allexperts and me for your question.
I just answered a similar question. Of course, as you might imagine, I have also answered many such questions :-).
I am not familiar with teachers in New York but I would think that there would be a lot of schools to pick from, I could be wrong because, as I said, I am not familiar with the area. But don't give up, keep looking, I am sure that there is someone in your area that can teach you.
On steps to finding an instructor, much less a good one. Your first step would be just to find a few schools. Next you'd have to visit the schools to get to know them and get a feel for the atmosphere, teacher, environment, etc., inorder to narrow the field of instructors to ones you feel you have a good chemistry with.
Good luck on your journey and have a great day. Please visit our websites that are listed below as well.
Sincerely,
Sifu Richard Mieir-King
