Question QUESTION: is it possible that HCG blood test can come back negative? can i still be possibly pregnant. The digital home pregnancy test read "pregnant" how could this be???
ANSWER: Hi Shala, I'd be happy to try and answer your question. Yes, it is possible that the HCG test can come back negative and you still be pregnant. It depends on when you took the test. HCG tests are best taken at least 1 day or two after your missed period. Are you talking about a blood test or a urine test? They're basically the same test, but the blood test may pick up pregnancy sooner. If you took a blood test and it was negative, and the digital home test (which was a urine test) was positive, maybe you didn't follow the test procedure completely correct. It's important that you follow the directions exactly. Have you missed a period yet? Like I said, they're more accurate when taken after a missed period. I would wait a few days, and if you don't get your period, then I would try another pregnancy test to make sure. Take care and good luck!

QUESTION: my last normal period was nov.22.dec or jan i didn't get a period. But in i bled for about 2 or 3 days(light)?
Answer Shala -- I would still recommend that you try another home pregnancy test. Whether it comes up positive or negative, you should still check with your doctor. Missing a period isn't always from pregnancy. There are other (some serious) conditions that can cause a missed period. Good luck.
