Question
I have recently read a report in a website 'babycentre.co.uk' which states "It is impossible for an RhD-negative man to father an RhD-positive baby"

I am O Rh negative and the mother is A Rh positive. My son is AB Pos
I have had doubts...Is this statement correct
Many thanks
Tony

Answer
Hi Tony, I'd be glad to try and answer your question.  If you're 100% certain of the blood types of the three of you, the report you read is correct.  If you're O negative and the mother is A positive, the only possible blood types for your child are A positive, A negative, O positive, or O negative.
