Answer
Hi Ellen, I'd be glad to try and help you understand these blood test results.  The tests that were done are pretty standard for a general health screening.  They did a CBC (complete blood count), which is a break-down of the cells in you blood, (red blood cells and white blood cells).  Also done was a Chemistry panel, which gives chemistry tests and also some liver functon tests.  Also done was a Lipid panel, which is the cholesterol (good cholesterol is HDL, while bad is LDL), triglycerides, etc.  TSH checks your thyroid.  There are only a few H (high) results, which are only slightly out of range, which is unlikely to be of any clinical significance.  From the test results you have provided me, you appear to be in good health!

Samantha
