Question Recently had urine test an the squamous epithelial cells, urine sed is a 1+. Is this alright or should I be worried? Thanks
Answer Hi Melissa. Squamous epithelial cells are just a "technical" or "medical" term for skin cells. So it is expected to find these in a urine sample. The same goes with sediment. Sediment is a normal part of urine. Nothing to be worried about.
