Question
My son plays goalie for his local LAX team, this was his first year but he likes it and his coaches seem to think he has a knack for the position. So, my question is what would be a good stick/head combo to set him up with that he can grow with and is a good product. He is 13 years old. Any info would be greatly appreciated since I am in the market to pick him up one soon. Thank You.

Answer
   Bryan,
Obviously you don't want to spend too much money for the most expensive stuff on the market if he is just starting out but you want to get him a good stick. For the shaft I would go with a Warrior Kryptolyte. It is light and strong, so it will last for a long time as he continues to play the game. It is also priced very decently and has great value. Now that we have the shaft settled lets move onto the head. For a head I would go with the STX Eclipse. It is very durable and flexible so it will last for a while. It has a great stopping area size and although it is a little pricey, I think it is worth the cost. If you weren't looking to spend that much on a head then I would go with the Warrior ODB.

Hope this helps and let me know if you have any further questions. Also be sure to check out www.zblax.com for all your custom stringing needs.

Thanks,
Zander
