Question
I am a starting defensemen on my lax team and all year i have been having trouble with my stix head. right now i am using a brine truth head on a warrior diamond stick but the plroble is that when i go to poke check or scoop up a ground ball the head wables and effectes my playing. i wrapped tape around the head in order to keep it stable but it did not really help. What should i do?

Answer
Danny I'm getting a lot of emails from guys having issues with cross branded heads and shafts so you're not alone.  What you can try is layering electrical tape over the end of the shaft before you put it into the head.  You want electrical tape because it doesn't compress all that much.  So take a couple pieces of tape and layer them over the top.  Leave the screw hole in the shaft uncovered or just remember where it is prior to putting the head on.  Slide the head over the tape.  You may have to jam it down pretty hard but once it's on it should be a lot better.  This is a temporary fix, but it should get you through and get rid of the wobbly head.
