About Joe
Expertise
I do not know much about the rules or the technical sides of the game, but I can give information on all equipment, handles, heads, helmets, and some stringing styles.

Experience
Due to the lack of teams in my area during my school years, I have never played. I have worked for a major retailer for 7 years. I manage the operations now, but I have done everything from sales to stringing (limited to mesh).

Subject: problem with rock-it pocket stringing

Question
the problem with my rock-it pocket isn't exactly the stringing its more like this... the ball keeps hitting off the top of the head and its annoying the heck out of me. what that is also doing is throwing off my accuracy. i have two hockey lace shooters in. the top is tight and the bottom is looser. i just want to rip the rock-it pocket out and put in mesh. please help

Answer
Alex,
It sounds like your pocket is just worn out. I agree that you should just put a mesh pocket in to it. I think you will be surprised at how much more you like it over the Rockit-Pockit. I wouldn't go with anything to extreme, just a regular hard mesh pocket. Once you get used to the feel, you can try tweaking the strings the way you like them.

Thanks,
Joe
