Lacrosse - Warrior Fatboy Titanium

Expert: Jonathan Edwards - 10/28/2009

Question
Jonathan,
How much more durable is the Warrior Fatboy then other shafts such as the Stx titanium or the Warrior Dolomite?
Which shaft out of those three would you recommend the most? The main issue is durability but I would just like to know if the extra weight of the Fatboy is really worth it.

Thanks,
- Nathan

Answer
Hey there Nathan.  I don't have any experience with the Fatboy personally.  But I do have a ton of experience with the STX Ti.  I have a shaft that I've had for fifteen years.  Seriously.  It has one tiny dent in it but it is still perfectly straight.  With that in mind it would be really hard to sell me on something thicker than the Ti.  I just don't think you need it.

Now, if you are built like a freaking lumberjack or something.  Forearms of steel.  Hands as strong as a fisherman and legs like tree trunks then MAYBE you might need it.  But I really doubt you will.

Don't spend extra money on the Ti. There is no need for others.  You will spend less money in the long run on shafts just going with straight Ti.

Hope that helps man.  Let me know if you need any clarification.
