Lacrosse - Rock-it Pocket

Expert: Zander Berlinski - 5/31/2009

Question
Hello, my name is Tom and i play lacrosse in NC. I already asked another
expert on the rock it pocket, but i would just like another opinion and I
noticed you specialized in equipment and stringing. If I am a second year
player who wants to get better should In try it? How much care does it
need? Is it worth the price.

Answer
    Tom,
A different type of pocket is not going to make you a better player, practice will. As for the rock-it pocket, I personally think they are overpriced and hard to maintain for someone who does not know how to string sticks. They are terrible in bad weather and need to be maintained on a daily basis. So to answer your question, I do not think it is worth the price. If strung correctly, I think a regular hard mesh pocket will preform just as well or better with little to no maintenance. Send your stick to the pros at ZB Lacrosse Company ( www.zblax.com ) if you want a stick that preforms well. They have great prices and amazing pocket quality. Save yourself money, time, and make your stick better.

Hope this helps and feel free to ask if you have any further questions.

Thanks,
Zander
