Question Hi,
my names Eric im 18 and have my 12th grade year coming up and my last
high school lax season. ive been playing for about 2 years now and have so
much passion for lax. I was wondering how i would go about trying to earn a
scholarship for collge so that i can continue playing?
Answer Eric you need to get to some camps or tournaments this summer and get to some coaches of schools you'd like to attend asap. Do your homework. Find schools that you can go to academically before you contact coaches. Don't waste your time if they are out of your calibre.
Also, you're going to really need to shine at these camps so make the most of it. You are behind the eightball already, I'll be honest. The other option is to attend a post graduate school for a year where you can play and work on your grades. Most decisions are made by your senior fall so you've got to hurry.
