Question
Hi,
Im looking to play lacrosse first year freshman, but i this is my first year.  Im completply new to the sport so Im wondering about whats the sports like. I want to play but i dont know if im experinced enough. Any tips to get physically stronger before the season in spring so i have a decent chance of making the team. Im 5'9-10 and 145 pounds im not very fast though and in terms of being physical im not so strong. Im doing whatever it takes to become strong for the season what can i do? any tips or advice to make the team?

Hello,
Make sure you are in great shape first.  Develop a aerobic base by running a few miles every other day.  Also, work on your acceleration (i.e. doing short sprints up to 40 yards).  In addition, do some agility work with cones to work on changing direction.  
As far as strength training, stick to the basics for now.  For example:
Bodyweight Squats
Bodyweight Lunges
Bodyweight Step-Ups
Push-ups
Inverted Rows
