Owner of a Discovery. I've had many mishaps with our Disco but I still like this vehicle. Talk to a fellow LR owner instead of a dealership rep. I'm not in this for the money. I'm just an owner who wants to help others.

Land Rover Repair - 95' Discovery FUSE 18

Expert: John McInnis - 11/1/2009

Question
Hi, i own a 1995 Land Rover Discovery 3.9 V8i

Neither rear wiper/wash nor mirrors and cruise control seems to work.
I've discovered that all they depend from fuse 18, so i checked out but the fuse is ok.
What should be the cause of the problem?
Many thanks for your help.

Answer
Hi Gian,

Do you have water leakage in the rear compartment?  Maybe the tailgate wiring harness has a fault.

Could also be linked to radio - radio tune switch.  Do you have radio problems or have you replaced or repaired the radio recently?

Send me an email and I'll reply with a fuse 18 wiring diagram - shows the link to the radio.

Regards,

JohnMc
