Expert: John Robison - 11/6/2009
Question Hello
Please could you advise me as to why I have this message on the dashboard of my 2003 registered L322 Range Rover 4.4 V8 petrol
engined model: AIR SUSPENSION INACTIVE the DSC still works and I have checked fuse 56 in relation to the air suspension. If it needs to go into a workshop can you advise as to a rough estimate of cost. Thank you for taking the time. Best regards DesR
Answer That message usually means there are faulty or conflicting signals from one or more sensors, so system operation is disabled. You will have to find a workshop with the specialized test equipment to speak to the computers in the Land Rover to see what is wrong. A generalist garage with OBD II scanners will not be able to access this data, nor will they have the skill to interpret it. Find a real LR specialist. That will give you an idea of cost.
Good luck
