Land Rover Repair/trans cooler

Question
trans cooler leaking, might be on coupler? My repair book say that you can just pull the cooler. Don't see how you can do it with no room to get to the hose connectors. whats the trick.

Answer
The usual cause of cooler leaks is rust and corrosion.  Here at Robison Service (in New England) w end up cutting the lines off and most of the time we have to replace it all - cooler lines, etc.  You take off the grille and it's awkward.  But you have to deal with this . . . if it blows out the trans will lose all its oil in seconds and it will burn up.

Good luck
