Question hello to all the LR fanatic. Im new here and I must say that I really appreciate what you guys do. I just bought a 00 Disco LR and the alarm key will allow me to lock and unlock doors but not disable the alarm... as a result the vehicle will not start. Every time I try to start it, the alarm would sound. please help. I know nothing about cars.

Answer Hi Joe,
what you can try is to insert your key into the driver's door; turn the key to the right and hold it there for 20 seconds; turn key to left and hold again for 20 seconds. Should reset the system - otherwise it could be a relay thats blown.
