Experience
Owner of a Discovery. I've had many mishaps with our Disco but I still like this vehicle. Talk to a fellow LR owner instead of a dealership rep. I'm not in this for the money. I'm just an owner who wants to help others.

Question
Good afternoon,

how complex can thefault codes p1590, p1884, p0102 be my truck has been stalling and has a hard time accelerating, and have to press gas at a stop light so it will not stall, I've invested good mone on this truck and I would like to have it working good. please help.

Answer
Hi Mario,

Could be very complex.  P1884 code is generated by transmission controller module I believe.

Do you have the "3 amigo's" visiting your Disco (ABS, TC and HDC lights active)?

P1590 is a SLABS warning
P1884 is transmission controller fault (V3 road speed invalid)
P0102 is MAF

It could be something as simple as the Mass Air flow MAF or as complex and expensive as the transmission itself.

You should have the Disco analyzed by a LR mechanic using a Testbook.  It should reveal if transmission has problems or something else.  They can clear the codes and run some diagnostics.

Best of luck,

JohnMc
