Question My 2002 freelander SE started making alot of noise when driving and I've been told I need to change the timing belt ASAP. However it takes a special tool and I was wondering what the name of this tool is.
Answer The timing belt tool kit is available from your dealer or online suppliers like Atlantic British. That's what it's called . . . timing belt tools.
Just so you know . . . replacement of the timing belt is an all day job for an experienced technician. And the tool set costs almost $1,000. So I'd certainly suggest you read about the procedure and think carefully before leaping in.
