Experience Owner of a Discovery. I've had many mishaps with our Disco but I still like this vehicle. Talk to a fellow LR owner instead of a dealership rep. I'm not in this for the money. I'm just an owner who wants to help others.
Question i have a land rover disco tdi, 1996 i think, ive had probs with the 2 front doors, the passenger wont open from outside unless you use the key and the drivers wont open unless you lift the top latch up enough to release the catch, i have bought some new springs but dont know how to fit them on, could you plz tell me how to do it plz and just what maybe causing the problems, thanx

this is a common problem for LR doors.
Send me an email and I'll respond with some techsheets on how to get access to the latches, replace or adjust them. There is not much room to work with but its possible.
