Question Hi Jonathan!
Thank you for your insightful information. I tried to get a potassium based fertilizer as well as soil, sand, and peat mixture from OSH yesterday to give to the gardener (he also seemed dumbfounded by this), yet they did not know what I was talking about. Do you mean that potassium should be the highest number out of the three numbers (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium? Do you know where I could purchase the potassium based fertilizer and soil, peat and sand mixture?
Thank you again for all of your help!
LJ
Answer Hi LJ
Yes, the number of Potassium should be the first on the list of contents and therefore, meaning that there is the highest quantity of that substance within the compound. Try looking for a potassium sulphate compound, if I were you I would contact your nearest golf club or a good garden shop. I am here in Italy, so I can't really reccomend anywhere... sorry!
The top dressing is essential... the Potassium a cherry on the cake,
Good luck
Jonathan
