Question
Hi Marc - I'm burying my gutter downspouts and moving the water away from my house, terminating with a pop-emitter.  Any suggestions of a product to use to filter out leaves and seeds that come through the gutters.  I'm trying to minimize undergroud clogging.  Thanks

Answer
The most common are the leaf interceptors at the rain gutter:

There are other manufacturers.  Talk to your local gutter expert to see what is available in your area.

If you don't want to replace all  your gutters, there is this from Canada.  It intercepts the leaves as they exit the downspout & before they get into the underground pipe:

Also, NDS makes the underground boxes, pop-up emitters, and spout accessories.  I like their products:
Ndopro.com (in their drainage catalog area)
