Question
The back of our property abuts woods and we are getting invasive kudzu from those woods I'm afraid.  It seems to be popping up everywhere and on everything.  I have cut and pulled but I don't seem to be making any headway.  Is there anything I can do to kill this beast???  Thanks for you help.

Answer
If I could figure that one out I wouldn't have to buy lottery tickets!!  This nasty little plant was imported into the southern US from Asia, and has been cussed at ever since.

I'd check with your local Ag Extension office for your state for their recommened erradication methods.  (type in "Ag Extension" and your state's name at google.com)

It is one of the fastest-growing plants known...Kind of like bamboo with attitude.

This website has herbicidal recommendations: http://www.clemson.edu/extfor/vegetation_management/ec656.htm

Good luck with this nasty problem!  ~M
