Question
I need to know the complete subject, the simple subject and the predicate in the following sentence;

The singers in an opera sometimes sing in a different language.

Answer
'The singers in an opera' is the complete subject.  It is what we are talking about.  'singers' is the simple subject, the other words tell us which singers.
the rest is the complete predicate with 'sing' as the verb.
The base sentence....singers sing....everything else is details.
