Laptop Problems - Laptop to TV ( SVideo ) No Video

Question
Hi,
I am using a Dell Inspiron 6000 and had no problems in the past displaying video from my laptop to the TV using an S-video out cable until now.
Suddenly Output is not getting nowadays to TV. Earlier when i used Fn F8 Key, when S-Video Cable is not Connected I used to see only LCD, but now i see Television Option even without connecting S-Video cable to Port. I also see the Television option in the Intel Graphics Program in the Taskbar near time without connecting any S-Video Cable. I connected S-Video cable and Changed to TV option using Fn F8 key, i have blank on LCD and TV. If I Choose LCD TV I get blank on TV.
I uninstalled Intel graphics driver, but on restart it automatically installs Intel driver and didn't ask explicitly to install drivers.
Could Someone help me out.
Thanks in Advance.

Answer
Hi Sakthivel, first, I would check for any updated drivers. If there are none, check to see if you can back-rev the drivers to a previous version. If that's not available, I would try uninstalling the entire video card and letting Windows reinstall it. If the software program is showing up where it didn't before, I would also try uninstalling the whole software from the control panel and reinstalling that.

This really sounds more like software than hardware, but there's always the possibility that the S-Video port isn't working.
