Question my screen is black when i turn it on,and in the top left hand corner a message flashes saying 'operating system not found'
Answer Hi Pat, it sounds like your laptop can't find the hard drive. Maybe the hard drive has gone bad, or maybe the files just got corrupted. You may want to boot it from CD and run some diagnostics on it. You can get a diagnostic CD from www.UltimateBootCD.com
