Question I hav a Compaq Presarion V3149AU model. Its just a year old. From the last 10-15 days it is having this problem:
Whenever you try to turn it onit wont, but if you put it on charger and then after 5-10 minutes try to turn it on then it will. But for the last 2-3 days this method was also not working. One of the service centre executive diagnosed that the Motherboard's connection with the display is not working. But I am not happy with this as I feel that there is some problem with the battery. Could you please tell me what could be the reason?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Answer Hi Rahul, if the battery is bad, you should still be able to remove the battery and run the laptop on the charger. Will that work?
Does it work correctly if it's plugged into a regular monitor?
When it doesn't come on, does it do anything? Meaning, do the fans spin up? Do the lights come on?
