Question I have a Dell Inspiron laptop with built in wireless card but I want to be able to access the internet when I am not near a wi-fi spot...soooo.. do I need to buy a broadband card or whatever they are called that plugs into my laptop and then pay a subscription fee monthly? What card/service would be compatible with my laptop? Thanks
Answer Hi Gayle;
Your dell e1501 has a built-in Dell wireless card, so if you want to be connected wirelessly at home or at office, the only thing you've to do is to subscribe to a DSL subscription for a few dollars per month and want them to give you a wireless modem(called Router) instead of wired modem for the connection.By doing so, you and everyone in the wireless range will be able to use the internet(Usually up to 200 users!)
