Question Hi.... I have an E system 3086 and it has been working fine until recently. when i turn the laptop on all im getting is the DVD drive spinning, no HDD light and no post screen and no OS working the battery is fully charged....Any ideas

Answer Hi Louis:
This may be a virus. If you can't start the computer on in the safe mode, do the following:
First, when turning on the system, go to Setup. Then make sure your HDD is the first boot device. If this didn't work, remove all removable components like printer, flash disk, DVD Drive(refer to the owner's manual to find out how to remove it)Then reinstall the HDD and turn the system on. If this didn't work remove your RAM and change it from slot A to slot B if available.
If your problem didn't get solved, please describe more. Which screens come up and more...
