QUESTION: Very sorry for not making myself clear and wasting your time.
I wish to remove and replace the hard drive, but cannot figure out how to get at it. It is not in plain sight like on so many other laptops. Perhaps I have to take the computer apart?

Hi Again John;
Your laptop uses an internal HDD, so you've take it apart or let a technician do it.
You can buy a compatible HDD for your laptop from: http://www.4allmemory.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=search.memorySearch3&model_id=469...
I recommend you to show it to a technician first.
