Question Hello Mohammad,
Could you please help me?
I own an Toshiba Equium Laptop, less than a year old, it could play dvds okay but suddenly no matter which software I use - Windows Media Player, VLC Media Player etc all of my dvds (I've tried a few to make sure I didn't have a scratched dvd) now jump as in the image is out of sink with the audio. It's almost like when you watch tv and there's static so the picture actually is pretty good it's the audio that's worse.
Do you have any idea if this is software or hardware related and if it is solvable before returning the laptop where I bought it.
Thank you very much.

Answer Hi Lisa;
First you have to perform a test, so that I can make sure what the problem is:
Copy a VCD or DVD to your hard drive(Make an image) and try to play it. Then tell me whether the sound is on the video or not.
Looking forward to your response.
Wish You The Bests
Mohammad
