QUESTION: Hey Mohammad,

I was reading about the HP's and there are a few complaints of them overheating.  What is your take on this? Also, what about a Toshiba? How do they compare to HP's?

Thanks again!

Answer
Hi again my friend;

Laptop computers are classified into 5 main groups:

-Budget systems: These are developed to provide a functional portable computer at a low price. They can do all basic computing tasks but they are not able to do gaming and high-end graphics applications as well as other classes. Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 and lower and AMD Athlon TK-53 and higher are in this class.

-Ultra Portables: Ultraportables are designed as light and compact as possible. They are good for those who are on the travel most of the time. There are few choices in this category. Intel Core 2 Duo L7200 and higher, Intel Core 2 Duo U7500 and higher, Intel Core 2 Solo U2100 and U2200 and AMD Turion TL-58 and lower are put in
this class.

-Subnotebooks: Subnotebooks tend to be a bit smaller than Ultraportables and a lot cheaper. These have limited functionality through the removal features. The processors in this category use very little power but also tend to have limited performance. Intel Celeron M, Intel Atom N260 and higher and Intel Atom Z500 and higher
are categorized in this class.

-Thin and Light:  A thin and light notebook is the one that is able to perform pretty much any computing task. They are smaller and more portable than Desktop Replacement models. Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 and higher and AMD Athlon TK-55 and higher are in this group.

-Desktop Replacements: Desktop replacement systems are designed to be a complete system that has the equivalent processing power and capability to a desktop
system but in a mobile package. AMD Athlon TL-56 and higher are
in this class.

The produced heat is depended on the CPU power. "Desktop Replacement" laptops produce much more heat than subnotebooks. HP laptops obey this rule too. Those who say HP laptops overheat, have used "Desktop Replacement" laptops.
There is no problem with the heat because:
Every laptop has a cooling system which inhales cool air from the back side or sometimes form the left or right side of the Laptop and blows hot air from the bottom side. This makes a lot of heat.It also makes fertility problems in men.

Toshiba Laptops are also good choices, but if you find a suitable model under HP or Dell brands, there is no need to look for Toshiba laptops.
If you want me to offer some models from Toshiba too, let me know.

Feel Free To Ask Me More.

Wish You The Bests and Bye

Mohammad
